Database filling up!

I no longer foster cats for Lonely Miaow due to my new fulltime job, but I do volunteer to help with the database admin. It’s kitten season (isn’t it always 🙂 ), so our database is filling up quickly.

Don’t forget, there are plenty of adult cats who need homes too! The kittens are the first to be adopted but adult cats make great pets – I have 3 of them.

Please visit to see if you can offer a kitty a new, loving home.

A never-ending supply of kitties

sandy kitty up for adoption Kitten season is supposed to be over but someone forgot to tell the kitties! We’re still full with loads of gorgeous babies and plenty of lovely adults too.

I’ve got 7 babies at the moment and a few are almost ready for adoption. I reckon these 2 won’t have to wait long for their furever homes. Tom (black) and Sandy (cameo). Aren’t they gorgeous!!

Hello Tim & Tam

I’m now fostering 2 absolutely beautiful furry babies. They were brought in to Manurewa Pet Doctors by a member of the public who’d found them abandoned. Tim is the black and white male – he has gorgeous markings. Tam is the white and tabby girl. She’s quite a bit underweight and has conjunctivitis but that should improve soon.

They’re amazing to watch and they love nothing better than falling asleep on the closest available lap. They even put up with my dog!

Candy has been adopted!!!

Candy being attacked by another cat’s kitten
I’ve been fostering Candy for quite a while now. She was dumped along with her 5 kittens and was luckily brought in to Lonely Miaow. She was a fantastic mum to her babies and they’ve all been adopted. Sadly, Candy is still waiting for her special owner to come and meet her.

She’s super-chilled and loves nothing better than to curl up on a chair close to where I am. She loves pats and will stand up like a meerkat if she thinks a pat is on its way. She’s learnt to put up with my rather annoying puppy and also gets on with my own cats. She’s extremely happy being inside so would do well in an apartment, as well as a house.

If you’d like to meet her, she’s based in Howick, Auckland and you can text 0211 457 691 to arrange an appointment.

She’s between 1-2 years old and has been desexed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, dewormed and deflead. Her adoption fee is $150 through the Lonely Miaow Assocation.
